Hemp Foods Australia has recently been featured on televison (Today Tonight) showing the current situation with hemp seeds, hemp protein and hemp oil in Australia. In a recent discovery about Whey Protein, which you may read at http://www.hempfoods.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/whey-protein-harms-health.pdf it has been shown that Whey is not all it has been promoted to be.

In an outdated move by the Department of Health and Ageing, hemp foods legislation is still being debated. For what seems to be issues that have previously been dealt with, Hemp Foods Australia has offered a response.
